Step 1: SCORM Setup

Prior to uploading SCORM training packages, SCORM (Setup) needs to be done first.

NOTE: Cyber Train is AICC & SCORM v1.2 compliant (SCORM 2004 is in the works!)

Step 2: Add SCORM/AICC Course

It is good practice to make the SCORM courses you need prior to uploading the content here.  At this point, you cannot upload SCORM content without attaching it to a SCORM Course.  Click the Add Course link to learn more about adding courses to the system.

Recommendations:
Categorize SCORM courses in a manner that makes sense to users.  That might mean putting the word 'SCORM' in: (a) the code; (b) course title; (c) a 'Course Type' codes; and/or (d) a course miscellaneous field to display in the Course Catalog view to make them easy to identify.

Step 3: Add SCORM/AICC Training Content

(1) Once the SCORM Courses are in place, go to the Admin > Curriculum > Content Management.

(2) Click on the 'Add new Record' link at the top of the table.

(3) On the first tab (General), start adding in the SCORM Content:
(4) the second tab (Companies) is grayed-out for SCORM training packages because you are tying it to a course and the course file indicates the companies who can utilize the training.

Step 4: Deploying SCORM/AICC to Students

Once the SCORM feature is enabled, SCORM Courses are loaded and SCORM training packages tied to the SCORM Course, the next step is either update the curriculum, codes and/or students with the training requirements:

(1) Curriculum:
- Create or Update programs and/or credentials that need SCORM Courses to be included.
- Create the SCORM classes for students to take.  Click here to learn more about creating classes.

(2) Codes:
- Add the training requirement to Job Title or Organization Codes as needed for automated requirements.
- Click here to learn more about how to add courses to codes for automation.

(3) Students:
- Add the training requirement to the student as an outstanding requirement or completed requirement as needed.
- Many ways to do this (manually from the student file, mass upload via processes, job title codes/organization codes, programs, etc...)
