Credential Request

Students may either enter a request which needs approval or record credentials. Credentials also can be automatically populated upon completion of training requirements and/or programs depending on credentials are configured.
Option 1: Student Requests/Records Credential Be Added
- Log into Cyber Train
- From the Home Page, Click on My Record > Credentials
- Click the ‘Add new record’ Link at the top of the table
- On the General Tab
- Enter the Date Started
- Enter the Date Attained
- Select the ‘Credential’ in the drop-down list
- This refreshes the page and enters the Credential Type, Issued By, Renewal, & Cost as setup in the credential but can be overwritten here as needed
- On the Bonus Tab
- Enter the bonus information if this credential requires you to do so
- On the Miscellaneous Tab
- Fill in the information as necessary here per instructions
- On the Attachment Tab
- Add attachments as needed
- Click ‘Save Changes’ Icon to begin the approval process or record the credential
Option 2: Admin Records Completed Credential
- Log into Cyber Train
- Enter the Student File via:
- Students > Find Student
- Recent Items
- Click the ‘Add new record’ Link at the top of the table
- On the General Tab
- Enter the Date Started
- Enter the Date Attained
- Select the ‘Credential’ in the drop-down list
- This refreshes the page and enters the Issued By, Renewal, & Cost as setup in the credential but can be overwritten here as needed
- Enter the Date Expires (as needed)
- On the Bonus Tab
- Enter the bonus information if this credential requires you to do so
- On the Miscellaneous Tab
- Fill in the information as necessary here per instructions
- On the Attachment Tab
- Add attachments as needed
- Click ‘Save Changes’ Icon to complete the credential recording process
