The Notes Page allows the users to add and modify notes that pertain to the Class File, as needed.
. To add a new note, click the Add new record link.
Note Type-select type from the drop-down list. The Note Type is a required field as this is used for tracking and reporting purposes.
Note Date-defaults in with today’s date but can be changed as needed.
Follow-up Date-indicates whether this note is passive or active. Leaving the field blank makes the note passive like an FYI or reference entered here to be read as needed. Entering a Follow-Up Date makes the note act like a task item. When the Follow-Up Date is equal to today’s date or is in the past of today’s date, the task displays on the Home Page > Messages section as an item requiring attention.
Email this Note to-select from all users. When emailing, select users by holding the CRTL key down and highlight the names as needed.
Note: in edit mode you can email this note to other users, click the hyperlink and select the person(s) to send the email to.
Attachments-can be sent in the email as well, highlight the appropriate ones from the drop-down list. These attachments are pulled from the Class File > Attachments Page whether they are public or not, they will be listed here.
Note text box-is where the note is entered. Click the Save Changes Icon when the note is completed or the Cancel Icon to abort the process.
