How to Approve an Enrollment Request

This notification appears on the Approver's Home Page when:
- A student registers in a class from either My Record > Classes or Search Classes section
- The class the student registers for has an approval process
OR
- A training administrator enrolls the student into a class and the training administrator enables the approval process
This message informs approvers that they have class enrollment requests to approve. This message can be removed by checking the checkbox in front of the class enrollment request message, and then clicking the 'Mark as Read' option in the left-hand menu bar in the 'Messages' section.
Option 1: From Messages
- Log into Cyber Train
- Click on ‘Messages’ in the left- menu on the Home Page
- Find and expand the message section – ‘Approvals: Class Enrollments Requests’ section
- Click ‘Accept’ or ‘Deny’ link as needed
Option 2: From Email
- Open the Email
- Review the details of the email
- Click either the ‘Accept’ or ‘Deny’ link as needed
- Enter a Note as needed
- Click ‘Submit’ to finalize the decision
Option 3: From class File (Manual Override)
- Log into Cyber Train
- Click on the ‘Class List’ Shortcut located in the top right- corner
- Find the class in the list (re-sort by different columns or use filters to narrow/change up the list)
- Click on the ‘Class Name’ as it is a hyperlink into the class file
- In the Class File
- In the Banner across the top of the file, click on the drop-down list
- Click the ‘Roster Page’ to select it
- On the Roster Page select the ‘Approvals’ tab
- Click on the ‘Pencil’ Icon to open the approval level
- Modify the ‘Approved Date’ as needed
- Select the ‘Approved’ option from the drop-down list
- Enter a ‘Note’ as needed
- Check the ‘Email Next Approver’ checkbox if there are additional approvers in the list
- Click the ‘Save Changes Icon’ at the top of the page in the banner
