Quick Checklist
CTAbraLink Executable
CTAbraRemote Executable
Check Release Notes to verify the executables being used and that the latest executable is download.
(1) Is the setup complete in Admin > Links > Pre-Defined Links > SageHRMS?
(2) Does the company translation link work?
- If the page comes up to do the translation this means the credentials are correct to log into the SQL database for Sage HRMS system and also maps the company code in Sage HRMS to the company in Cyber Train.
- Verify the Cyber Train information is entered in the database fields and not the Sage HRMS information.
- This executable identifies the additional fields to bring over from the Sage HRMS system (along with the name, employee ID number and company code). In the setup program, credentials if are recorded to allow access to the Cyber Train database.
(4) Is the executable program set up to run in the task manager daily?
- Is the ‘sa’ as the username/password? If this is not working, has another username/password combination tried? Are the results the same or different?
(5) Are log files getting created when the executable is run?
- The header information in the log file identifies the program, server, user ID, and database along with the setup fields along with company code mapping.
- Is the whole log getting written or is it stopping at some point?
(6) If the job codes and/or organization codes are set to come over, are they coming over?
- If not, are the codes at the company level? They cannot come over if they are only at the enterprise level. Copy them down to the company level and try again.
Short Term Plan (Work-Around):
- Expand the report pulled from Sage HRMS for the new employees to include all employees (new hires, job changes, termination).
- Set the report up to pull based on the change date for a certain period (if needed)
- Export the report from Sage HRMS and import via Admin > Processes.
- This would bring new hires into the system, terminations would change to inactive students and job changes would be updated in Cyber Train.

(1) If anything was setup in Admin > Links > Pre-Defined Links > SageHRMS, go ahead and take it out.
- This option is outside of the Cyber Train system. Only if the CTAbraLink.exe is being used does that setup needed to be done in the system.
- This executable identifies the additional fields to bring over from the Sage HRMS system (along with the name, employee ID number and company code). In the setup program, credentials are recorded to allow access to the Cyber Train database.
(3) Is the executable program setup to run in the task manager daily?
- Is the ‘sa’ as the user name/password? If this is not working, has another username/password combination tried? Are the results the same or different?
(4) Are log files getting created when the executable is run?
- The header information in the log file identifies the program, server, user ID, and database along with the setup fields along with company code mapping.
- Is the whole log getting written or is it stopping at some point?
(5) Is a debug log file being created?
- This is created when there is a problem specifically related to the 'Add Student' part of the process and supplies all the fields and values that are trying to get added to the student table.
