Processes

The Processes section of the Admin menu allows an Admin user to mass add, remove or update student information, courses, or code tables in the system.

 

Because these processes can potentially delete or change large quantities of data, and do not have an "undo" option, we strongly recommend that you have your IT do a backup of your SQL databases (and possibly temporarily take your system offline) in case a restore is necessary. If Visibility Software hosts your system, please contact our Product Support Group (ProductSupport@visibilitysoftware.com) so we may assist you.

 

  • Copy Code Table: Provides the ability to copy codes from one table to another and in some cases from one company to another.

  • Import Code Tables: Provides the ability to import ASCII text files of codes into the code tables

  • Import Courses: Provides the ability to import courses into the course catalog

  • Import Courses Taken: Provides the ability to import Excel files of Courses Taken into Student Files

  • Import Credentials: Provides the ability to import Excel files of Credential information into Student Files

  • Import Requirements: Provides the ability to import Excel files of Requirements into Student File

  • Import Students: Provides the ability to import Excel files of Students into the system

  • Mass Add Records: Provides the ability to mass add Requirements, Courses Taken, Programs and/or Credentials into the Student File

  • Mass Delete Records: Provides the ability to mass delete Requirements, Courses Taken, Programs and/or Credentials from the Student File

  • Mass Delete Students: Provides the ability to delete large groups of Students simultaneously

  • Process Course Equivalency: Provides the ability to replace an existing course with another course
