Interface by File Transfer: Cyber Recruiter will gather information and consolidate it into a file which is exported from Cyber Recruiter and will be imported into the Sage HRMS system. This process is a multiple step process which includes completing a page in Cyber Recruiter with specific information for Sage HRMS , exporting the file and then importing the file into Sage HRMS .
This process will have two pages to complete during the daily use of this interface inside Cyber Recruiter. The first page is stored in the Applicant file. The second is accessed under the Applicant menu item.
Establishing Connectivity
This should be done on the client’s machine who will be importing the data into Sage HRMS . This should NOT be done on the Cyber Recruiter server.

- Login to Sage HRMS
- Go to Help/About Sage HRMS
- Click the System Information tab
- Write down the Data Path
- Make sure the Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver is installed on the machine. If it is not you can download a version of it from here: Visual FoxPro ODBC Driver

- Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel
- Open the Administrative Tools folder and double-click the Data Sources (ODBC) or 32-bit Data Sources icon (you may have either.)
- Go to step 5.
- For Windows 7 or newer you will need to invoke the 32-bit ODBC drivers by running: C:\Windows\SysWow64\odbcad32.exe (Note: Do not just Start, Run, ODBCAd32.exe, as it will not bring up the right one.)
- Go to the System DSN tab.
- Click Add, double-click Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver.
- Type in a Data Source Name. It can be anything, but you must remember the name of it. Common choices for names are LiveSage, SageData, or LiveSageData.
- You may leave the Description blank.
- Choose Free Table Directory.
- Click Browse and find the folder on your network where your Sage HRMS data directory resides and click OK.
- Click the Options button.

Ethnic Code Translation |
|
The goal for this feature is to allow for proper coding in Cyber Recruiter (since the codes are mapped to specific columns in one of the AAP reports) but still to pass over the correct code to Sage HRMS so it doesn't have to be entered twice.
To set up this feature, click on the new linked titled "Ethnic Code Translations". Press the Add New Record link to add in a translation. Using the drop-down list, select the code in Cyber Recruiter and manually type in the correct code in Sage HRMS . Save changes. The translation only has to be set up for codes which are not identical in the two systems. However, all codes can be added if desired.
|
Step 2: Verifying Code Tables
Codes which are currently used in Sage HRMS need to be re-entered into Cyber Recruiter so the user exporting the information can select the correct value. These values MUST match what is currently in Sage HRMS in order for Sage HRMS to recognize the values and successfully import the file. All codes are stored under Admin > Codes > Sage HRMS .
