Page Location: Admin > Links > Pre-Defined > Universal Background Screening
This feature allows information to be passed from Cyber Recruiter to Universal Background Screening (UBS) to initiate a background request.
Before you can send applicant information to UBS, the functionality must be enabled in Cyber Recruiter Admin first and information issues by UBS will be needed. By default, UBS is not enabled. In order to turn this feature on, login as a user with admin rights and go to the page specified above.
Set the Enabled? field to 'YES' to turn this feature on and make it display in the system. Then highlight the individual users who should see and use this feature in the selection box at the bottom of the page. It is suggested at this point to click the 'Save Changes' Icon.

This is the URL of where the applicant information is being sent and it is issued by UBS. It will be something like this:

NOTE: If the / is missing from the end of the URL, the submission page will generate the following error:
405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.

Return URL
|
In order to get the results sent back and loaded in Cyber Recruiter, UBS needs a 'receiving page' in the format of an URL. This 'Read Only' URL updates based on what is in the Admin > Website > Career Portal > Self Service Tab > Edit Main > Self Service Link. The 'UniversalBackgroundReturn.aspx' replaces the 'AppSelfService.aspx' of the link. If the software is moved from one server to another, once the Self Service Link is updated, so is this link.
Here is an example of what the URL will look like but this is NOT your receiving URL link:
http://www.vs.com/cr7careers/UniversalBackgroundReturn.aspx. |
