Page Location: Admin > Page Builder > Applicant > Inbox

System defaults for the view 'Inbox' are set by the Administrator in the Page Builder section; however, each user has the ability to change the settings based on his/her preference via the My Preferences page; but, this page controls the defaults for the users based on their role in the system.

Recruiter Inbox

Columns selected in this section will be applied to any user who has the field for "Recruiter" set to "Yes" under Admin > Security > User Security.

Hiring Manager Inbox

Columns selected in this section will be applied to any user who DOES NOT have the field for "Recruiter" set to "Yes" under Admin > Security > User Security.

Actions Section

The bottom section of actions can be defaulted when using the column for "Status Action".  We do NOT recommend using this field because it only controls the FIRST time an applicant applies to a position in the system.  Instead, we recommend using the column Assigned Reqs (Desc: Status).  If the "Status Action" field is used then the following values can be automatically connected to the action.

  1. Automatically remove the Applicant from the Inbox view.
  2. Notify the Recruiter of the "Web Requisition" of the change to the status.
  3. Notify the Hiring Manager of the "Web Requisition" of the change to the status.
  4. Automatically change the status for the Applicant for the "Web Requisition"
  5. Automatically change the Overall Status for the Applicant.
