Tab: Into Page
The Intro Page Tab allows the Administrator to design the initial page of the organization’s careers section.
The Intro Page Tab is designed to be a launching point for the rest of the website. Making this page active (selecting YES) will allow the Administrator to create a welcome message for the careers section of the corporate website and provide direction to the applicants. The drop-down list at the bottom contains various links that can be placed on this page to act as shortcuts to other places in the careers section. Altogether, these this page and links will make up the full careers section of the corporate website.
Available Links
- Link to Corporate Benefits – Link to view Benefits
- Link to Self Service Login – Link to enter the Applicant Self Service Center
- Link to First Careers Page – Link to Browse Open Positions
- Link to First Page of Application – Link to the first page of the Online Application
- Link to ‘Hot Jobs’ – Link to screen of featured jobs (additional setup needed)
- Search Box – Displays a search option on the Intro page (additional setup needed)
- Keyword Search – Displays an open text box to do keyword searching on requisitions. Searches Job Title, Req Code and Job Description
- Company Name – Merge field to bring in the Company Name from Admin > System Setup
Link Properties
{CareersLink: Job Opportunities}
• Code (CareersLink) – Contains hard coded direction of where the link should take Applicants when clicked. This should NOT be modified.
• User-Defined Data Label (Job Opportunities) – the actual hyperlink as Applicants will see it
Search Box Setup
The Search Box is a tool available on the Intro Page which allows the Administrator to set up pre-determined searching options which allow the Applicants to look for jobs not necessarily how the company has decided to organize them. For example, if the company website just lists all the jobs in a table, the search box would allow the applicant to narrow down the list by selecting only feature about the job which interests him/her. To set up the search box tool, first set up the details by clicking on the Search Box Setup link on the Intro Page. Select where this link should show on the Intro Page and place the Search Box link in the text as it should appear for the applicant.
