xJob Description

All the fields on this page with the exception of "Browse Method" and "Refer A Friend" relate to the layout and configuration of the job description which is posted on the careers module (not the Self Service module).

Some clients need to post a link to the "EEO it is THE LAW" post on the job page.  If so, use the hyperlink button to put a link to this page:

If posting on other sites and the desire is to get applicants back to this page to start the application process, set up a custom HTML re-direct link .

The sections of the page relate back to the job description in the following order:

Field / Section  Purposes / Details 
Text Box If a statement should appear at the top of every job description (for example, "We are an equal opportunity employer"). use the text box at the button of the page to provide instructions to the applicant or to add in any statements which should be part of every Job Description. 
Job Title View Select how the Job Title should be displayed on the top of the page
  Req Code Shows just the unique requisition code for the requisition.
  Req Description Shows just the job title for the requisition.
  Code: Description Shows the unique requisition code, then a colon and then the job title for the requisition
 
Display Fields (1-5) Select up to five fields stored on the Main page of the requisition which should be displayed as part of the job description. 
  Req Code Displays the unique code associated with the requisition
  Job Type Displays the "Job Type" field from the Job Info tab of the Main page.
  Full Time / Part Time Displays the "FT/PT" field from the Job Info tab of the Main page.
  Current Req Status Displays the Public status related to the Status on the General tab of the Main page.
  Status Date Displays the "Status Date" field from the General tab of the Main page.
  Open Date Displays the "Open Date" from the General tab of the Main page
  Requested Date Displays the "Date Requested" field from General tab of the Main page
  From Salary Displays the "From Salary" field from the Job Info tab of the Main page.
  To Salary Displays the "To Salary" field from the Job Info tab of the Main page.
  From/To Together Displays the "From Salary" and the "To Salary" fields from the Job Info tab of the Main page. in the same column.
  Salary Grade  Displays the "Salary Grade" field from the Job Info tab of the Main page
  Org Level (1-5) Displays any one of the organizational levels defined on the Job Info tab of the Main page
  Misc. (1-20) Displays any one of the miscellaneous fields defined on the Misc. tab of the Main page.
  Location Fields

Options include "City", "State", "City, State", "County", "Country".

Pulls information from the Location field of the Main page. 

Field Display Caption Specify what this field should be called on the search results page.
   
Job Description Using the  icon to map sections of the Job Description from the requisition. 
  Field Select which section of the requisition file should appear in the job description.  Any section from the "Job Description" page or any note can be posted as part of the job description.
  Order Select which order this section should appear in relation to the other sections.
  Title Provide a title for the section to provide further details to the applicant about what they are reading (Job Details or Requirements or Company Information, etc.).
  Instructions Type in a statement which will appear on EVERY job description below the title and above the information related to the requisition. 


Apply Now Button If desired, type in other wording that 'Apply Now' to make the button on the bottom of the job description page convey a different message.  "Join Our Team" or "Submit My Data", etc.
